I started training BJJ in February 2015. I was in my early 20s and was looking to get back in shape and try something new. I grew up playing football for my local team and missed the camaraderie and the competition among other things.
BJJ has taught me a lot more than just the physical skills on the mat. It has taught and continues to teach me about respect, humility, discipline, hard work, resilience, determination, responsibility and so much more. I could go on for pages about all the ways that BJJ has affected my life, but I’d much rather you experienced it for yourself and joined us on our BJJ journey!
I started BJJ in 2015 after getting hooked on the UFC when a friend showed me highlights of Gustafsson vs Jones 1.Growing up I was never particularly athletic or sporty but now wanted to try my hand at MMA which seemed new and exciting.
Quickly I realized I did not want to get punched in the face for a hobby and let my dreams of MMA die and focused solely on BJJ. Now over 6 years later with the help of the very coaches who taught me on day one I am still on the mats, learning, growing and most importantly having a good time doing it.

Catch you on the mats, peace and love.
